Invest NI launch ‘Ambition to Grow’ scheme for 40 NI businesses

Today, Monday 24^th October 2022, Invest NI launched a new scheme called Ambition to Grow, which offers £45k towards job creation and market development for early stage businesses.

Are you eligible for the ‘Ambition to Grow’ scheme?

The scheme is open, with only 40 spaces available and exclusions do apply.

You cannot apply for the scheme if you receive existing support from InvestNI, or if you work in farming, fishing, transport, energy, and retail.

You can apply for the scheme if you are a business that:

• has the ambition to grow
• is innovative with the ambition to grow sales up to £1 million
• has a product or service with a strong USP to take to markets outside Northern Ireland
• is a start-up or an established company that has not worked with Invest NI before
• needs government support to create great jobs and to sell innovative products or services outside Northern Ireland

The scheme is open to all (except the noted exclusions) with a push for digital/ICT; agri-tech; life & health sciences; financial services or advanced engineering businesses.

How to apply for the ‘Ambition to Grow’ scheme

You will be able to apply directly from the Invest NI website from today until midday on Friday 25 November 2022 when the scheme closes.
